The problem with shared hosting is that you share the same server with up to 500 or more sites. It takes a few sites on the box with traffic to make the load worse for everyone else. I would consider looking at a VPS in the future, for now you are fine on a basic shared account with the amount of traffic you receive. You could always look at moving to another server if all else fails. After reading it, I felt as if a longtime friend had just walked me through everything I needed to know to dive into social media. The more I immerse myself in this arena, the more amazed I am at the sheer helpfulness, insight and thoughtfulness of the community. It's obvious that you based this on your own trials and sometimes errors. The one I found most interesting was the one that dealt with when deciding you should move away from shared webhosting to your own server. Is it possible to say the number of visitors you are getting per day when you should decide to upgrade? Let's say you have 3 blogs on a shared webhosting provider. If each blog gets about 40 visitors a day, then your 3 blogs get a total of 120 visitors a day. Even with WordPress Super Cache, it starts to slow down a bit and who knows what the other people who also share that same webhosting server are doing, they probably have blogs to. Does anyone have an ballpark guess of how many daily visitors a fully loaded blog with 12 of the most popular WordPress plugins should get per day before upgrading? Thanks.

Re: 40 Key Elements to Getting Started In Social Media

I've just head over to the Louisgray link and I must say that the elements covered in the post are of true value.
