Getting social with bookmarking on FriendFeed.

I posted a few days ago on FriendFeed about wanting to get more social with my bookmarking. I primarily was referring to using all the features of Diigo to their full extent. OK, I may be ignorant here, since I've never started a FF room before, but by joining that room, aren't you going to get ALL of the feeds I have asked FF to share (blog, twitter, flickr), not just my bookmarks? Or do you have the ability to tell the room, "just bring in this person's bookmarks"? My feed, btw, is http://feeds.delicious.com/v2/rss/lnorvig

Not at all Laura. Typically the rooms are an off place to share and comment, away from your standard feeds. However, FriendFeed recently allowed users to add RSS feeds to a room, so that all content from that feed will automatically be entered into the room. The feeds are added by the administrators of the room, hence why Mike has asked you to provide him with your URL.

So, if I was to track bookmarks for everyone entering this "experiment", I would need to subscribe to all of them (and I would see all of their other content as well). Now, I can join this room and see what bookmarks others have to offer (possibly leading me to other subscriptions).
