  • Curious at what "level" of activity the scammers rip the info. Do you need to use your card alot to have it nabbed?
  • Amzolt, The bulk of the stolen credit card data floating around is usually from server breeches. Using your card online constantly would put you at higher risk for identity theft. Use caution and common sense on where you use you credit card. Always buy from trusted sources, if their is no encryption, start running fast. To answer your question , you do not need to have your credit card on person for it to be used by a cyber criminal.

    From your post, I find it hard to believe their are sources that can be trusted. Seems even trustworthy sources are being compromised....
  • This is a very interesting article about what stands behind the internet fraud. And internet fraud has already become a very serious issue.
  • As you said is impossibly to eliminate the credit card fraud. Fraudsters will find other ways to bypass the system.
  • That's the biggest fear I have! I don't use my credit card often just because of the frauds associated!
